1. Where
did the idea of GunDealersOnline come from?
As a gun collector I was having a hard time finding
certain guns for my own personal collection. I spent a lot of time on
the phone and on the road trying to find specific guns and looked
forward to the local gun shows to arrive. After talking to fellow
collectors and gun dealers, we decided to create a web site for all
dealers to participate in. This will allow the consumer to easily
browse through dealer inventories to find what they are looking for.
2. What
is the goal of GunDealersOnline?
Our goal is to provide consumers with a location to
find the guns they desire. This web site is set up for the consumer to
easily browse through a dealer’s inventory for the hard to find
collector guns and check out all the newest guns the dealers have to
offer.
3. Do
I need a Federal Firearms License to list my guns?
As for GunDealersOnline, we are not a federal
firearm license dealer. We represent dealers only and do not offer
classifieds for individual sales. All sales must be done directly
through the dealers. Gun dealers have the knowledge to recommend the
right guns and ammunition based on the application use for the
individual.
4. Why
use the internet?
More and more people use the internet to find
information; it is convenient and saves time. Year 2000 census bureau
shows that 41.5% of households have internet access. People are now
searching the web instead of the yellow pages.
